why are there so many sick and hurtful people in this world?(news article)?
saw on the news about an hour ago or so now…
this ill girl’s birthday presents were stolen. 
bad enough when someone breaks into your house…but to steal an ill persons presents…how fucking low can you get?
i really hope these people are found and locked up for 90 years…

I am sorry to say that this world is a very sick place. Unfortunately the media will always elaborate on this type of news because bad news will sell papers and attract viewers. If the news was fully of happy events, there would be far less purchasers of papers and watchers of news.

alright well i need to do a current events paper for world history and i need world news but i cant find anything that like wood be easy to write about all there is is like obamas wife putting her arm around the queen and like dumb pointless stuff so can someone give me a link to world news article that will be easy to write a paper about?

Why not look around in their site until you find something that interests you.
If you look at the very bottom of the page you will find links to Reuters various international web sites.
The other link is to an interesting video on what our future could hold in store for us.

Why are news articles now set up in such an annoying way?
It seems that, on most websites now, you can only get a few short paragraphs at a time. Then, you have to click an arrow to wait for the next page to load. I just tried to read an article about printers on PC World, and the article was spread over sixteen short pages. In the old days of the Internet, the article could easily have been put on one page.
Is this to make more room for ads, or to force readers to spend more time looking at ads while waiting for the next page to load?

I’m sure it also boosts their click-rate. A metric showing that users are click happy on a site would be enticing to advertisers. The more a user clicks, the more likely they are to click on an advertisement.

any ideas? world history news article?
for world history i have to make up a story (news article) that has to do with a Confucius proverb. the proverb is the title of the article and then you write a story pertaining about it. does anyone have any ideas? because im completely blanked out.
