painting nails with newspaper?
I heard this and everyone says it works you dip your nail in rubbing alcohol and then put the newspaper on top and the print comes off..
ANYWAYS I dont have any rubbing alcohol,
what else could I use?
The whole point is i dont want to go buy any…so i dont want someone to say “go find mrs.vickys purple vinager” or something whats something I could use at home?
NOTE: I do have rubbing alcohol but its old, would adding alcohol help?
its over 7 years old, its just water and its not REAL rubbing alcohol it doesnt work im positive. Ive tried it a bunch of times
it was for ear pericing so it was a little diffrent. but I thought id try

You say you need rubbing alcohol then you say that you already have rubbing alcohol so I’m not sure what the problem is. If it’s just that it is old, that shouldn’t be a problem. It should still work.
Edit: Ohhhhh I see. Well, if you have any mouthwash( most mouthwashes have alcohol) or vodka it should work just as well.
Here is how I did it. Apply a good base coat then choose a light colored polish and apply it. Any light to medium color will work. The ink won’t show up on dark colors. After you apply the color it’s best if you can also use a good fast dry top coat. I do this step before and after the ink transfer because sometimes the ink won’t transfer correctly, straight, or fully. Let your nails completely dry. This step is important even if you use a fast dry top coat because if you do the following steps with wet nails it will ruin the polish underneath so allow a few hours or overnight of drying time before transferring the ink. Take your scissors, cut out squares that are larger than the surface of your nail. Make sure that what you’re cutting out has equal sized writing on it.To transfer the ink you want to carefully pour the alcohol or mouthwash into a small container, or lid. Dip your dry nail into the alcohol or mouthwash for 10 seconds, then firmly press the newspaper strip onto your nail. Be sure not to move it around , so you don’t smudge it. Hold it on your nail for around 20 seconds, and then carefully peel it off.Repeat on the 10 other nails.You can clean up edges using a q tip and some nail polish remover. Lastly you just apply a top coat again then let dry.

I saw a picture of a girl with words on her nails from a newspaper and it had steps on how to do it:
How to do this;
1. Paint your nails any colour you’d like & LET THEM DRY.
2. You will need rubbing alcohol & newspaper
3. Cut out a little section of the newspaper & place it on your nail
4. Put rubbing alcohol on a cotton ball and dab it over the newspaper
5. THERE YOU GO
Is this true, or even possible?

Try it out and see. I think its possible because i also saw a hand out that said the same thing. I want to try it! It looks really cool
